Four years ago, you trusted me to represent District 7 on the Denver City Council. The city faced enormous challenges and together we've made real progress, from protecting Denver Health and expanding transit to investing in neighborhoods and creating opportunities for working families.

I’m running because…

I grew up in a working-class family here in District 7. My parents taught me that hard work, sacrifice, and service can overcome extraordinary obstacles. Like so many families in our community, we worked hard for everything we had. All we needed was opportunity, and the City of Denver helped make that possible.

Today, I believe every child and every family deserves that same opportunity. That's why I'm running for re-election: to build a city where hard work is rewarded, families can put down roots, and the next generation has an even brighter future than the last.

Those lessons still guide every decision I make. As a councilmember and as a mom, I'm working to build a city where every family has the opportunity to thrive.

  • Helped pass the ballot measure giving Denver city employees the right to unionize.
