Building a Future for the People Who Call Denver Home.

I grew up in District 7. Now I'm raising my son here, and I have the honor of representing the neighborhoods that raised me.

I know what makes this community special. I also know how much is changing and how important it is that the people who call this place home have a real part in its future.

Because progress isn't just about what we build. It's about who benefits.

The Work Isn't Finished.

I first ran for City Council because I wanted to do something about the problems my family and neighbors were experiencing. Unsafe streets. Concerns about clean air. Too many obstacles for people trying to improve their own neighborhoods.

Since taking office in 2023, I've learned how much work it takes to turn commitment into real results.

I've helped run a construction business, negotiated major contracts, and spent the last three years navigating some of the toughest decisions facing our city. I know the importance of asking the right questions, understanding the details, and making sure someone follows through.

We've made real progress together. And there's still more to do.

That's why I'm running for reelection. I know the work we've started, and I'm ready to keep building on it.

What We've Accomplished Together

Since taking office, I've worked with residents and community partners to strengthen essential services, expand opportunity, and increase investment in District 7. Here's some of what we've accomplished together:

• Strengthening Denver Health

  Supported the effort to secure permanent funding for Denver Health, approved by Denver voters in 2024, to help sustain essential healthcare services.

• Standing Up for City Workers

  Co-sponsored the measure that brought collective bargaining rights for eligible Denver city employees to voters, who approved it in 2024.

• Expanding Voter Access

  Partnered with the Denver Clerk and Recorder to bring new ballot drop boxes to Athmar Park and Harvard Gulch.

• Investing in South Broadway

  Helped advance the creation of the Broadway Denver General Improvement District (GID), giving businesses and neighbors a way to fund improvements, support a cleaner and safer corridor, and invest in the area's future.

• Bringing Women's Professional Soccer to District 7

  Supported bringing Denver Summit FC's new stadium to District 7, creating a major community investment with the potential to create jobs, strengthen local businesses, and expand economic opportunity.

Building the Future Together

I grew up in a working-class family. My parents worked hard to build a better life for us, and I saw how the right opportunities could improve a family's future.

I want more families to have those opportunities today.

But I also know how hard people are working just to keep up. Housing, groceries, childcare, healthcare, transportation. It all adds up.

That's why the next chapter of our work has to focus on what makes everyday life better:

• A District 7 Where Families Can Get Ahead

  Making life more affordable means more than talking about housing costs. It means helping families access childcare, healthcare, reliable transportation, and the opportunities they need to build financial stability.

• A Stronger Economy, Built by Our Community

  I believe District 7 can become an economic powerhouse for Denver, driven by our small businesses, new investments, and the talent of our residents.

  That means helping local entrepreneurs grow, connecting people to good-paying jobs, and making sure our neighborhoods benefit from the opportunities being created.

• Safer, Healthier, Better-Connected Neighborhoods

  Every family deserves safe streets, clean air, healthy parks, and transportation that gets them where they need to go safely. We need to keep improving our infrastructure while making sure residents have a voice in the projects shaping their neighborhoods.

And through it all, I'll keep asking the questions that matter: What will this cost? Who benefits? And how do we make sure the city delivers?

After three years on City Council, I know what it takes to turn plans into progress. I'm committed to following through on the work we've started and being accountable for the results.
